
Keegan Kolesar of the Seattle Thunderbirds was named to the World Junior Development roster. Kolesar is one of 41 hopefuls trying to land a spot on the World Junior team this upcoming December. Kolesar is a 3rd Round Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick who is coming off of an impressive season where he registered 30 goals, 31 assists for 64 points. Keegan has been a long time client of The Rink taking part in both our Pro Group and Small Group Sessions.

The other player named to the U-18 roster was Brett Davis who played last season for the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Davis takes part in our Spring High Performance Power Skating group at Dakota CC. Davis also wrapped up his rookie season in the WHL registering 17 points in 53 games with the Hurricanes.

Lastly, three players who train with us in partnership with the Laker Academy at Southdale CC were named to the U-17 Development Camp roster which takes place in Calgary July 26th to August 1st. Jett Woo, Caiden Daley and Rylan Bettens were the Rink Trained players named to the 111 player roster. All three players were members of the Winnipeg Wild in the Manitoba Provincial AAA League. Woo who had 27 points as a defensemen is a draft pick of the Moose Jaw Warriors. Woo was also a member of the Canada Youth Olympic Games. Both Daley and Bettens are Bantam Draft picks of the Brandon Wheat Kings, finished with 38 and 20 points respectively this year for the Wild.
